HL7 New Zealand board returns

The board of HL7 New Zealand has re-elected its office holders following its AGM last week, with chairman Peter Jordan and vice chairman Peter Sergent continuing in their roles.

Eleven of the previous board members were re-elected along with Health Alliance's Karen Blake, who replaces Orion Health's Edwin Ng.

Current treasurer David Moorhouse and secretary Linda McKay have also been returned. Mr Jordan and Ms Kay will serve two-year terms under changes to the board's constitution.

HL7 New Zealand recently announced that its chair emeritus, David Hay, had been elected as a fellow of HL7 International, the first New Zealander to receive the honour.
